Slag cement

low permeability, greater efficacy because of attracting calcium hydroxide by active slag silica, and smoother surface texture of slag, highly premium chemical resistance to the simultaneous pressure of sulfate and chlorine, protecting the reinforcement against erosion and rust are some of the properties of slag cement.

Slag cement -

low permeability, greater efficacy because of attracting calcium hydroxide by active slag silica, and smoother surface texture of slag, highly premium chemical resistance to the simultaneous pressure of sulfate and chlorine, protecting the reinforcement against erosion and rust are some of the properties of slag cement.

Usage

  • In areas including sulfate and chlorine salts
  • Mass concrete placing
  • Damns
  • Wharfing and building ports
  • Water and wastewater canals
  • Subway routes
  • Reinforced concrete
  • Water reservoirs
  • Able to be used with prone sand for alkali-silica reaction
  • Tropical areas

Non-usage

Take the required care when using this type of cement if there is a need to make quick castings of low-volume concrete .

Characteristics of slag cement

The use of this type of cement decreases hydration heat, and it enhances the crack in case of humidity. Also, it has less hydration heat, lower Alkaid reaction with sand, and higher anti-sulfate properties.
